Unlike the traditional image-sliding puzzle game,
imagicSpin use rotations to scramble and restore an
image. Once a rotation is applied on an image group
that containing four adjunct sub-image-blocks, all their
positions and neighborhood relations are changed
and distorted. It is not easy to recover the image back
although it looks simple. The picture on right shows
one such example.
The top-left one in the picture is the original image. A
sequence of four random rotations were applied on the
image and generated a puzzle (the last one on the top
row). Here each image group (also called "zone" in the
game) was highlighted and rotation applied was
detailed (clockwise or count-clockwise) under each
image. An image restoring attempt started at the
second row. After 11 rotations, the image ended with a
"dead-end" as shown on the bottom row. What a
surprising! Obviously, this is just one of five dead-end
cases if we tried to recover top-left area first.
Challenge is: can you solve these puzzles?
